Chitra means ‘pictures’, Gaatha means ‘story’. Chitragaatha as the name suggest depicting story through pictures.

Chitragaatha as an Indian comic book publisher aims at telling new age original as well as experimental stories through most underrated entertainment medium in India, that is Comic Book.

In the year 2022, Pratik Bhattacharya and Anadi Abhilash, both IT professional and belong to the same Almamater NIT Durgapur joined hands to launch “Chitragaatha”. Both of them, being a part of official dramatic club of NIT Durgapur utilised their creative self to create original content and won national level awards. It was passion for comic book which motivated them to reactivate their creative mind of dramatic club era.
